HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We have a computer system that accurately and fairly calculates the price. It is based on the size of the art and the choices of materials. We have a huge selection to fit any budget. Quotes can be given but it is not as accurate. We need to know size, glass type, wood or metal frame? Archival, cheap, easy, budget?
HOW LONG DOES CUSTOM FRAMING TAKE?
Our normal delivery is seven to ten days. We will call if a job will not be completed on the promised date. Rush orders are always accepted, but material choices might be limited because of time. There will be an additional charge.
WHY MAT A PICTURE?
Most important it creates air space between the art and glass. Glass against the art can condense moisture and damage your art. Second, it is a decorative element to provide a visual space between the art and frame. This keeps the finished piece from feeling crowded. The width of the mat depends on the size of the frame in relation to the art. One guideline is the mat and frame should not be the same width. There are no rules only your imagination.
DO FRAMES HAVE TO MATCH?
No, unless you have a designer house and frame them all at one time. With art, frames and mats will not always look good the same. But you can keep a consistency without having an exact match. Good combinations make great pictures.

Certainly! Appointments may be scheduled in person at the shop, or by phone or email here.
DO YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO HANG ARTWORK OR DELIVER?
Yes, we can schedule installation or delivery appointments.
WHAT TYPES OF GLASS ARE AVAILABLE?
REGULAR GLASS may be used on almost anything that is of not great value. There is no UV protection.
NON-GLARE GLASS is etched on one side to cut down on reflections but does not totally remove them.
UV GLASS has an ultraviolet coating that will filter 97% UV of light which causes fading of art.
MUSUEM GLASS has a Conservation Grade 99% UV Protection with a nearly invisible finish. It is the best for important personal keepsakes.
ACRYLIC GLASS is available in all grades. It is ideal when weight is a factor or shipping artwork.
DO YOU FRAME NEEDLEWORK?
Yes! If we use glass, spacers are included to keep the glass away from the needlework. We only recommend glass if there are smokers, hung in the kitchen, by fireplace, or if it might be touched.
DO YOU DO PLATES?
Yes, we can provide any size or lettering. Our mat cutter can also do decorative cuts with words or clipart.
